Some lucky (smart) people will make thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars promoting other website owners products. After all, what an ideal way to make money online.it is a easy to make money if know ways..Worln isa change.Many ways to make money you with easy. don’t need your own product, you don’t need a website, you don’t have to deal with customers, you don’t have to hold stock, the list goes on. All you need to do is market a product owners website and get traffic (visitors) to that website which should then do it’s job and encourage those visitors to buy the product for which you will be paid a commission. On this basis anyone would have to admit that internet affiliate marketing is the perfect work from home business.
To make money Unfortunately, in the real world, for many affiliate marketers this just isn’t the case. We get drawn in by the hype, we set up web pages, spend fortunes on advertising such as pay-per-click, write and submit articles, sign up for e-zines and often for little or no gain. All of a sudden internet affiliate marketing isn’t the ‘holy grail’ we first thought. Don’t get me wrong, these methods can and do work but they have to be used in the right way.
The same can be said for the website,product owners. They take time and effort to attract affiliate marketers to their sites, they offer great commissions, they put the systems in place to allow affiliates to sign up but in many cases, once they’ve recruited the affiliate marketer they just leave them to get on with it. The product may be excellent but the affiliates are left to carry on with no support or guidance so they follow the ‘usual routes’ and find themselves in the situation above.
It seems to me that if internet affiliate marketing is to work for both parties then affiliates need to know how to use strategies and methods effectively and website,product owners need to have their affiliate programs set up so they offer tools, support and guidance. If both of these requirements are met, we’ll have a win,win situation for all concerned.
So,What’s the answer?
My theory is that 99% of website,product owners have their affiliate programs set up completely wrong and as a result are losing out on significant profits. They are attracting internet affiliate marketers to their sites who don’t know how to effectively use both the ‘traditional’ and new methods of advertising to market the websites. Therefore there is a ‘double whammy’ effect resulting in no positive result for either the website owner or the affiliate marketer. It’s a fact that 20% of affiliate marketers make 80% of of the income for website owners. Roughly translated, this means if you have a website with 100 affiliates, only 20 of them will bring in any money. Imagine if you could double or even treble this so in this scenario up to 60 of your 100 affiliates were making money.
Taking this into account it’s clear that website owners need to encourage affiliate marketers who are desperate to promote the site and to do so on a consistent basis. To do this they need to offer their affiliate programs as a complete package, almost like a business plan so that the affiliate can follow it to the letter on a step-by-step basis.
This ‘business plan’ should include guidance and advice on,
Articles, Ezine ads,Blogging,Search Engine Optimization,Youtube,Adwords,Pay per click,Viral marketing,Two tier brokering
it should also include relevant examples of adverts, banner ads, articles, affiliate links etc.
How many website owners offer this sort of package to prospective internet affiliate marketers? The answer is very few but if you were a website owner imagine how much the quality of your affiliates would improve if you did. You would be well on your way to creating your own army of ‘super affiliates’, pushing your profits through the roof.
As an internet affiliate marketer, which website would you be more likely to sign up to? The one that says “thanks very much, now off you go” or the one that says ”thanks very much, here’s exactly what you need to do, here’s the tools you’ll need to do it and if you need any more support I’m here for you”.
